Fibreglass is Markforged’s entry-level Continuous Fibre —a material capable of yielding parts 10x stronger than ABS when laid into a Composite Base material like Onyx.

Fibreglass is the flagship material of the Onyx Pro and X5. It is printable on the Mark Two and X7, providing a more affordable alternative to Carbon Fibre.

What is fibreglass?
Extremely thin strands of glass bundled together into a fibre. Fibreglass is traditionally used in composites for boat, automobile, and aircraft manufacture.
