Refund policy

We’re quite flexible when it comes to refunds and returns, but there are some rules to follow for certain items.

RETURNS:

To ensure a smooth return process, please make sure to include a copy of your invoice when sending items back to us. Returns are accepted within 30 days from the issue date. We cannot accept returns without a copy of your invoice; we appreciate your cooperation.

Printer Consumables and Spare parts:

At Invenio 3D, we’ve got you covered. Simply return the unused and unopened items, and we’ll offer you a store credit or a refund. Please note that the original shipping fee is non-refundable. Shop with confidence knowing we’re here to help.

Please keep these vital details in mind to ensure a smooth return process:

  • 30-Day Return Window: All items must be returned within 30 days from the date of the invoice.
  • Expiry Date: Consumables must have at least 6 months of lifespan remaining.
  • Original Condition: Items should be in their original packaging—unused, unopened, undamaged, and free of any extra shipping labels or marks. We don’t accept resealed items. For safe returns, use different external packaging.
  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply to incorrectly ordered or unwanted returns.
  • Freight & Insurance: You are responsible for the freight charges and insurance for the return. Unfortunately, we cannot credit or refund these costs.
  • Tracking Number: Ensure you return your goods with a tracking number. We cannot issue a store credit or refund for items not received by our warehouse.
  • Receiver to Pay: Items shipped with 'receiver to pay' will be rejected, and the courier will be responsible for the disposal of these items.

If these requirements are not met, Invenio 3D reserves the right not to offer a credit or refund. Rejected printer consumables will be held for 90 days. If we do not receive instructions within this period, the items will be disposed of. There will be a shipping fee to return any rejected item to you.

3D Printers:

Please note that 3D printers are non-returnable if ordered incorrectly or if you simply change your mind.

Faulty Items:

Our products come with guarantees that can't be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If a warranty-covered item is found faulty, you can count on us for a repair, replacement, credit, or refund—at the discretion of the manufacturer and/or Invenio 3D. However, please note that we may decline a claim if the product fault is due to:

  • Misuse & Neglect: Faults from misuse, neglect, or abnormal use.
  • Wear & Tear: Normal wear and tear over time.
  • Improper Assembly: Damage from improper assembly or modifications.
  • Packaging Damage: Issues limited to external or product packaging.
  • Handling & Transport: Damage that occurs during your own handling or transportation.
  • Non-Refundable Shipping Fees: Please note that any shipping fees paid to Invenio 3D are non-refundable.
  • Hold onto Suspected Faulty Items: Don’t dispose of items you suspect are faulty—we’ll need them back for evaluation. Store credits, refunds, or replacements cannot be issued for items that cannot be returned.

Restrictions on Returns:

12-Month Rule: We do not offer credits or refunds for returns of goods over 12 months old from the invoice date. However, there are some exceptions for specific products, as allowed by the manufacturer.

Empty or Expired Items: These items cannot be credited or replaced.

Tampered Products: If the product has been tampered with, it will not be replaced or credited.

Sealed Consumables: Ensure all consumables are sealed and secure to prevent leaks or loss during transit.

Warranty Coverage: The warranty is limited to the cost of the goods as stated on your invoice, reflecting the amount you paid. No implied warranties extend beyond what is stated in this policy or our Service Terms.

Evaluation Process: Once we receive your returned goods, we’ll evaluate them and contact you with the results.

Items Damaged in Transit: 

We want to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase. If you find any items damaged in transit, please let us know within 48 hours of receipt. Just email a photo of the damaged packaging and/or products along with your invoice number to support@invenio3d.com.au. We’re here to help.
